March 8th: WOMEN’S DAY!
The International Day of Working Women commemorates the struggle of women for their participation in society, on the foot of women´s emancipation and their full development as a person, on an equal basis with men.
From our school, students from Primary 5 and 6 want to contribute to this day and they have been working in Arts & Crafts some artists who once fought for their rights and for gender equality and today they make history and leave us a great job to enjoy.
They were women artists who made history, but today we must continue contributing to this movement, all with the same objective: to achieve EQUALITY!
The protagonist are:
- Artemissia Gentileschi.
- Caterina Van Hemessen.
- Frida Kahlo.
